Maud and Rarity have become pen pals while Maud is out at her dig. Every month Maud brings Rarity the gems she has no use for as a present. Now that she's getting to stay home for a while to write her dissertation she's bringing Rarity a surprise as well. Rarity is very surprised, but not unpleased.
That was adorably awkward! I'm finding myself looking forward to seeing how Maud deals with one of Rarity's more dramatic moments, or one of her full meltdowns. Nicely done!
A typo has given me the title to my next short story. I choose not to reveal this typo, as I know you won't fix it anyway. But I will give you the credit for the inspiration.
This was super cute and a perfect Maud. And the end with Rarity still thinking about it makes it realistic.
so bravo. Though I do wish you'd let someone preread for you.

If you tell me the specific error I'll fix it. I just don't feel like going through a story when told "there are typos." I know I missed something, but I'm not going to go looking for it.
OK, nitpicking at typos will commence now that i have read it once.

Fix it. Git!
Cute as per the usual, darling. One of the other darlings in the comments already caught some edits for you, darling, so I trust they found what I did as well.
Not to be rude darling, and please don't take this the wrong way, but, darling, if I may make a suggestion for writing Lady Rarity in the future. Perhaps don't rely on using darling so much as it adds too much seasoning to the dish, darling, and can distract from the rest of your work. While she does say darling as one of her go-to terms of endearment, you should really space them out, darling. Perhaps, throw in a dear instead to break it up the usage while still keeping her layering on her generous verbiage, sugarcube.

I liked the BEEP
it took a second for my brain to process, but once it did...it felt appropriate for how I exactly imagined Maud pulling her over.
Just enough exploration into how the pairing would come about. Surprisingly sweet and you manage to continue the tradition of Maud somehow being the funniest part of any sorry she in.
An intriguing pairing. I could actually see it happening if it's done in a manner such as this one.
What a lovely little tale! You have some nice characterization for Rarity and Maud, with the highlight being the adorable letter Rar got from her, it was both heartwarming and funny!
Indeed! Nice to see Rarity has her priorities straight
Yay! I'm really enjoying this slice of life one shot ships. They give you just enough to be invested in the relationship and leave you feeling good afterwards. Maud and Rarity was another couple that I would of not thought of but it was well crafted to make them feel enduring.

Yay! I'm enjoying so many comments, but shouldn't you be doing the working things?
11298551
I see you caught onto that. I’m actually at work and because of the temporary position they have me in I have a lot of free time on my hands (it’s not as fun as it sounds). In between working on my writing I read your stories to make the miserable position less miserable.
11298575
Hehe, yeah. Being in a place you need to be with nothing to do is terrible!
Hopefully I'll have time to write more soon so you'll have more to read. :D

Yay!! I’m going to be out in the middle of nowhere for awhile so I will have plenty of time to read.
