Ya know, I was just about to ask how the rest of town viewed Anon, and it seems like even after a year he's still feared by several folks.
Oddly enough, I could easily see Mrs. Cake having that attitude towards him. She worries easy in the show and it doesn't surprise me she's worried about Pinkie here.
That, and you made it to where the fear isn't in your face or forces an awkward pause into the flow of the story, noice.
Oooooo. Good job not making Rose actually like Anon like that (Almost had the everyday love triangle...though I wouldnt mind seeing that because Roseluck is heavily unused in fics) . She's clearly just a bud to him, and poor Pinkie thought otherwise.

Honestly almost snapped my neck at how fast Pinkie went from being motivated by AJ to running off in self-deprecation. At least AJ didn't get in Anons face about what he said (the poor guy is more lost than Pinkie)

Of all the characters in My Little Pony, Pinkie Pie is probably one of the volatile sagelike ponies out there. You could write so many different mysterious, horror and mindfuck stories with her because her personality just clicks. I like how this story is unfolding so far. What can I say as criticism? I guess the only thing that comes to mind is making Anons personality more concrete, that goes for the Delicate Trixie story you wrote as well. But I will get to that in another comment. Good read
