Bookish Delight

I've moved on from Fimfiction. New works on AO3!

E

Equestria has changed—and right now, ponykind is experiencing a jubilation it hasn't known for an uncountable number of moons.

But parties always end eventually—and the royals of Zephyr Heights know that sooner or later, they'll have to return home, as wanted mares.

If nothing else, it's a good idea to get themselves in order before they do.

Alright, let's see where this goes. Besides Haven going to a jail cell. Which, if it's anything like the one Sunny and Izzy were in...

Frankly. the whole family deserves to be in jail. They lied for centuries about being able to fly, when they never could. So I don't have too much sympathy for them as a family.

Zipp and Pipp at least are on the right track. Haven... Not so much.

Well now. You certainly have my interest with this one. Looking forward to seeing the aftermath unfold.

At least Haven's taking responsibility for the royal's deception. Curious to see how it goes.

That's just it - the phony-pony-full-of-baloney airshows were going on long before Haven was even born. She was kind of between a rock and a hard place - either keep on maintaining the lie she inherited, or risk throwing all of Zephyr Heights into a panic. Plus Zipp and Pipp didn't really have a choice in the matter.

Though you do have a point in that before she was arrested, Haven was completely dismissive of the idea that letting her people know the truth might be a good thing, even when she was basically sitting on actual evidence that the pony tribes used to get along just fine.

I blame the whole thing on the founder of their royal line, Queen Cozy the 1st, who invented the lie.
