Running Away

Starlight found herself in her old village. She then looked at the villagers and saw that they had equal signs for Cutie marks.

“That’s funny why would they have those equal signs, didn’t they get their cutie marks back?” Starlight asked.

“Oh Starlight Glimmer, how naive you are.” A voice was heard.

She then saw a duplicate of herself in her old mane style.

“What? How? But I’m reformed now.” Starlight said in fear.

“Silly Starlight, did you ever think you’d be truly reformed. Well you aren’t.” The duplicate smirked at her. “By the way I’d like to you to meet the newest additions to the town.”

Soon she saw Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Spike in zombie like states smiling.

“What did you do to them?!” Starlight asked angrily.

“You mean what did you do to them, honestly after that little mind control stunt you pulled this was bound to happen.” The duplicate smirked.

“No this isn’t right, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Spike, Twilight snap out of it.” Starlight begged.

“They can’t, they’re brainwashed, don’t you see this is who you truly are Starlight, nothing but a power hungry unicorn.” The duplicate laughed before...

Starlight woke up, she looked at her forhooves and whispered to herself “I can’t stay here I’ll only cause trouble.”

It’s still the middle of the night, good it gives me enough time to leave. Starlight thought.

Starlight began getting ready to go, she got her saddlebags and began packing her things. She then got a piece of paper and a note and began writing.

After the note was finished it read:

Dear Twilight:

I am leaving Equestria, ever since the stunt I pulled last week I’ve been doubting my ability to learn from you. Twilight if you are reading this, don’t blame yourself, I’m the major screw up. I’ll miss you Twi and the rest of my friends but I have to prevent myself from causing anymore pain. At least now I’ll finally be out of your manes or scales in Spike’s case.

Starlight placed the note on her bed and teleported out of the castle and began walking on a journey to who knows where, she just knows she needs to get out of Equestria.

It was now day time and Celestia’s sun has risen, Twilight yawned as she woke up.

“Man, I had a good night sleep, hopefully Spike and Starlight has a nice rest as well.” Twilight said as she got up to go wake up Spike and Starlight because she didn’t want them to oversleep.

She started with Spike as she went to his room.

“Spike, you can get up now.” Twilight told Spike as she went up to his room.

“Oh hey Twilight, do you want me to start cooking breakfast?” Spike asked.

“Yes that would be nice, I’m gonna go wake up Starlight.” Twilight told the dragon.

“Okay, hopefully she’s feeling better about the whole incident it’s been a week now.” Spike said as he went to go prepare breakfast.

Soon Twilight teleported into Starlight’s room, and found she wasn’t in the room “Huh, that’s weird did she get up early?”

She then saw a piece of paper on the bed, and began reading it.

“What’s this?” Twilight asked before reading it and her eyes widened and she began to scream “SPIKE!” as she went to the kitchen while levitating the note with her magic.

Spike heard Twilight galloping towards him and sighed “Oh boy, what happened now?”

Twilight panted as she ran into the kitchen and levitated the letter Starlight wrote to Spike.

Spike soon read the letter and also widened his eyes.

“Starlight ran away?!” Spike asked incredulously.

“I can’t believe this, I knew she was upset about what she did but I didn’t know it would lead to this!” Twilight began freaking out.

“Twilight calm down, we’ll find Starlight, she couldn’t have gone that far.” Spike comforted.

“She has magic Spike, she could have gone anywhere.” Twilight pointed out.

“Oh yeah.” Spike muttered before speaking up “Well how about we get our friends to help, hopefully then we’ll find her, besides the teleportation spell can only go so far.”

“That’s a great idea Spike, we gotta make letters and send them to all our friends that there is an emergency.” Twilight told Spike.

“I’m on it.” Spike told Twilight before beginning to write letters.

Starlight was seen in a cave, this would be her new home, besides there’s plenty of berries and a lake nearby she’d be fine.

“Well looks like this is my new home. Heh heh, might as well make the best of it, at least now I won’t hurt anyone I hold dear, yeah, there’s berries and water, yeah this is fine.” Starlight said making the best out of her new home.

We see the Mane Five run over to the map table and they seemed very worried.

“We came as soon as you called us Twilight.” Applejack told Twilight.

“What’s the emergency? Is it bad?” Fluttershy asked curiously.

“Starlight ran away from the castle last night, her actions last week are still affecting her badly.” Twilight explained solemnly.

“You mean the Mind Control incident, we forgave her for that. It shouldn’t be a big deal anymore.” Rainbow Dash said confused.

“Yes we did but apparently she doesn’t forgive herself for what she did as proved by the letter she wrote and the fact she even ran away in the first place.” Twilight explained.

“Maybe we should get Discord to help, I mean he could probably track her down somehow.” Rarity suggested.

“Then we’ll prove that she can forgive herself for what she did and everything will be okay.” Pinkie Pie beamed.

“That does sound like a good idea Rarity. Fluttershy can you go get Discord?” Twilight asked.

“I’ll see if he’s available.” Fluttershy answered.

“Great, see Twilight, things are gonna be okay?” Spike said hugging Twilight.

“I sure hope so Spike.” Twilight sighed.

Author's Note:

This is my take on an Accusation Fic you see I wanted to write a story about the events of ‘Every Little Thing She Does’, but of course I made it so no one is bashed for what happened in that episode, and by no one I of course mean Starlight. I wanna address the things she did as wrong but keeping this from being a bash-fic. Maybe I’ll do ‘A Canterlot Wedding’ next.
