Well Twilight is a bit of a forgiving type. Being the princess of friendship she can tell if a ponies in pain and is sorry for everything, plus she know's Octavia didn't mean what she said to Vinyl.

Octavia... it's not your fault. From what I read in-between the lines and from personal experience with that sort of thing, she probably already had a lot to deal with not connected to you. You were simply the "key" if you will. If it hadn't been you it would have been somepony else. Again, don't blame yourself.
