Honestly I've considered it, but I've also been trying not to make the story too mature as My Little Pony is above all else meant as a children's show. That being said, however, I did imply some pretty mature things in this chapter so I might have to.

Well it's my first MLP story. I have experience writing for other fandoms but this is indeed my first story for this fandom. I plan to make a couple fanfics in the future as well but this one was on my mind for a while so I decided to write it first.

I love Soundgarden and Black Hole Sun is definitely my favorite of their songs.

I was indeed inspired by FigmentForms' online comic. It inspired a bit of the plot and a few lines here and there. Otherwise it was an idea that I conceived of when I read the MLP comics about Sombra's origins. He's easily one of my favorite characters in the series solely based on his design and had so much potential. More so than a lot of other mlp characters. In any case yes, I did take a bit of inspiration from 'A Tale of Two Rulers'

This part right here is why this story is amazing. And it has a complexity normal stories are very few stories have. A villain character who has a complex character. This simple sentence alone expresses what he thinks about himself in the world. "You’re only trying to tame me like a monster!" This makes it very clear he does not see himself as a monster even though he probably understands what he has done would be sent it wrong.

Thank you! It is an interesting paradox indeed. The point is to show how every villain is the hero of their own story and how they believe they are right. Sombra I feel is a character that believes himself to be above others but does not see himself as a monster. It lines up with his arc in the comics where he has visions of himself as a tyrant and he fears it coming to fruition. In any case, thanks for the nice comment! Hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

If I were to borrow an OC it would either have to be a Pony living in the Crystal Empire, Canterlot, or Ponyville. They'd also have to be fairly regular and tame with their abilities. They'd be more of a background character than anything else. I'll reach out to you about this.
