Y'know, as standalone stories, these three chapters of the Hop, Skip, and a Jump series fall a bit flatter than other stories simply because they are meant more as bridging chapters rather than self-contained stories, and require reading the earlier stories to understand completely.

So I apologize if that bothers any of you. :fluttershyouch:

It wasn't so bad, but at the same time not quite as good as the others. Still a 4.5, though.

I guess the whole chapter was something of a "yeah, it's good, but it doesn't really pop" kind of story.

There were a few grammar errors I noticed: "feinting" where there should have been "fainting" and "would of" instead of "would have".

2043
Man, I try to catch most of those errors when I do the re-read... but I have to say, you gotta be looking at older versions because every time you've brought up the would of/have fiasco from my past works, they simply don't exist in these versions, BT. I should know because I've taken crazy amounts of time to comb through the documents and make doubly sure that no "would of" or "wouldn't of" or "Would not of" could slip in.

It's just not something that is there anymore.

I liked this chapter. not as great as Hop, Skip and a Jump, being that the only one of read of yours besides this one, but it was good none-the-less. I would really like some more Applejack and Fluttershy short-stories. you strung it together so well that i cant read anymore shipping/romance about either of them, because yours is my favorite. great job :)

I smiled so hard that my face was starting to hurt. I couldn't actually make any noises to express my happiness due to it being about 5 AM when I started reading this, but on the inside I was exploding with happiness twice. Big Macintosh is the best big brother a pony could ask for. I wonder how they convinced pinkie to leave Bitey at home though... He would blend in if he was there. He does have a tux and top hat after all.

With just a little bit of background this chapter is beautiful. This gives partial resolution to a powerful internal conflict in Rainbow who, let's face it, needs a little internal conflict to balance her out. It is sad, but it is a good kind of sadness. It gives us something to look forward to in the future without promise that it will be fixed. Also which generation of Dr. are you basing your Dr. Whoof on?

liked it a lot, the progression kind of has me confused though, since you see the whole wedding again, which as far as i know already happened in first date, and also twilight and rainbow dash not being together anymore even though at the end of first date it seemed like they would still be.

anyway wonderfully writen, keep up the good work:twilightsmile:

I wish there was a way to give two thumbs up! :pinkiehappy:
