It was a chance encounter at the night of the Grand Galloping Gala that led to Fluttershy and Princess Luna becoming friends. But as the moons passed and their friendship deepened, the shy pegasus started to realize that what she felt for the Princess of the Night was more than mere friendship.
It was something she had never expected. But now, at the night of Hearth’s Warming Eve, Fluttershy knew it was a path she had to tread if she wished her feelings to be known.

Aww that was so cute so this is basically during season 1 I think Fluttershy went to the animal sanctuary but then she meet up with Princess Luna yes she was pretty shy but then she saw the best of Luna but also probably more when later days goes on and apparently she develop a love for Luna when Angel called out about her affection to Luna so when Hearts warming came around she want to confess her love to her but she couldn't have find a word because she was getting nervous and scared when they went outside they saw a mistletoe so Fluttershy took action and kiss Luna but then she realize that was too fast but Luna for her she really knows what Fluttershy is saying and she accepted to be her girlfriend this was a pretty nice story merry Christmas and happy holidays

And pretty much yeah. A divergence where Flutters met Luna at the gardens and things proceeded fron there.
