I'm not exactly doing a timeline; these are just one-shots. The whole idea here is that Fluttershy is, well, shy and has social anxieties as is endemic to her character and would probably have a hard time establishing a relationship. But she's very close to Rainbow Dash, both are comfortable with each other, hence when one needs to unwind, they're comfortable enough getting down and dirty without it being a relationship. This is just my view, you can make of that what you will.
