Not bad for your first story, but this feels like less of a fic and more of a conversation. If you take a little time to describe the character's dispositions, adding some hesitation (especially for a sensitive topic like this one) and even some internal thoughts, you could take this story a long way~

I’ll be honest both Starlight and Sunburst are at fault. Starlight overreacted but I feel it’s a bit understandable since Sunburst did not send her letters or offer her to visit, but he could not have known that Starlight would become the way they did. So in a way they both share the blame. Great story nonetheless it’s about time Sunburst got called out somewhat. Starlight gets way too much flack in my opinion. I respect your opinion if you disagree.

That's actually a pretty good call out of Sunburst action some reasons why did he didn't just say goodbye to Starlight maybe things could have gone differently she wouldn't have hated cutie marks or try to mess up the timeline and not only that at least wrote a letter to her how he's been doing sometimes the show kind of forgot about that when it comes to apologizing for some ways action this was a pretty good story.
