79 years has passed, so did Jacob Wilson's time. Equestria remained as classified in his world, and Jacob never told anyone about it, none except his grandson: Lance Wilson. This young man is a daredevil, same as his old man! Lance was in RAF, piloting a F-35B "Lighting" II. After the extraterrestrials invaded Earth, Lance and wing-man were ordered to stop the enemy Air Force. They have accidentally went into Equestria again! Now meeting the characters his grandfather told him about, Lance had a new destiny: defend this beautiful land against the evil aliens. Join Lance and the new mane six as they fight the invaders with awesome modern weapons! (Yup it's getting from WW2 to Modern Warfare!)

The correct launch code for the AIM-120 is "Fox 3" as it is an active radar guided missile. For reference, Fox 1 is used for Semi-active radar guided (it uses your aircrafts onboard radar to guide itself) missiles such as the AIM-7 Sparrow and Fox 2 is used for IR guided missiles such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder.
While I'm at it I might as well tell you that the correct nomenclature for a gun run would be "guns, guns, guns." an Air to Ground missile launch is preceded by the phrase "rifle" and a bomb drop with "pickle".

It's a improved version of the F-4 Phantom, armed with three 20mm M61 Volcan. It can also carry rockets and bombs for bomb runs and close air supports. The F-4E is also used by the Equestrian Air Force. They can also carry Air to air missiles. It's not a replica.

I know people who worked at Lockheed and the development was an absolute mess. Plus, I don't want to list them all here, but it's had a myriad of teething issues, including:
1) Engines being damaged
2) Being overweight
3) Having a helmet so heavy it'll snap your neck if you eject.

Well, the RAF can't use the Raptor. It's out of production, and even if it wasn't, it has a ban on foreign sales. Congress restricted it to the USAF only.
The RN does have the F-35 STOVL version, so it makes sense.
