The idea was, at this point, Trixie believes the corruption to be unremovable, so anyone that has is unable to return to how they were before.

I suppose that does seem a little off doesn’t it?
My intention was that if Trixie walks away from that, everyone else would come after her immediately, putting her a much worse situation than if she just killed the Elements. However, thinking back on it, everyone else probably still would go after her because she killed the Elements, so I suppose I’ll need to change that at some point.
And, yes, I’ll also change the Ursa Major colour. I have seen several images of it, none of which have had that colour (even if none of them were actual screencaps of the show), so you can see why I would think them blue.

Most, if not all, fanart are of the Ursa Minor. You only see the Major for two seconds in the second episode of the series and that's it.

Okay, I just changed it to be moreso related to her reputation, being that defeating the Major would instill a lot more fear in everyone, making them easier to defeat.
And, yeah, most of the fanart I’ve seen before may have been of the Minor, or just made by someone who hasn’t actually seen the Major’s actual colours.

if the rainboom was what pushed the princess and alot of the others over the edge then does that mean that if trixie practised she could blast the corruption away through a AOE or blasting someone. it also makes you wonder if rainbow will be in troble if everything goes back to normal as she is the one who corruptid the princess

That’s a good point, though what I did with the Sonic Rainboom was if it were to be created by a corrupt pony, it would act more like it normally does, creating a magic surge for all corrupt ponies nearby. However, if a pure pony creates the Rainboom, then it does something different and reliant on the pony’s magic. That all will be relevant pretty soon, so keep that in mind.

There’s not too much a difference between OC’s and canon characters, the only main one I can see is how well defined they are.
Canon characters are known to have certain characteristics, like their colours, personalities, and backstories, whereas OC’s don’t, making them a lot more variable in what people perceive them as.

I do agree this doesn't even seem like Trixy at all except in body. However that could be because of the change in her living conditions. Anyone of us experiencing the same thing could not help but be dramatically changed by it. That is why it makes more sense for her when she chose a new name to go with her new persona.
