Okay Sir, this has been a long time coming. I apologize for not having said this ages ago when I first read your story. I’m only just realizing that while hitting the like button is a wonderful and good thing to do for the stories you like and enjoy, there are some stories that don’t just deserve more, they demand it by the very passion they incite in their readers hearts.
I’ve finally realized that it’s okay to comment on the things you truly love and are inspired by, and not just save your comments for pointing out flaws and issues, no matter how gentle your intentions.
What I’m saying here flutterjackdash is your story is a perfect example of why the fandom exists.
You took a topic so dark and depraved and showed the love surrounding those who cared for the pony destroyed by it, and turned this story into an uplifting and heartwarming, and heartrending, experience in all the best ways. It’s incredibly inspiring and darkly beautiful.
Your story has inspired me in so many ways to rise to its level in my writing.
And even if you never write another word past these two sublime chapters, your story even as it stands now would be one of the finest examples this fandom has ever offered of how perfect a story can be no matter how dark the topic or crushing and cruel the circumstances. Thank you much for crafting and sharing this story with us.
And please accept my belated thanks for allowing me to be inspired by your story.
It’s a fandom. What better place to be a passionate fan. And what better story to be passionate about. :pinkiehappy:
