This isn't an X-men rewrite it's just Sombra with four followers, inspired by Apocalipse.
Also, come up with your own head canon on which is which cause, I have a lot of the story mapped out, so I might not put that in. Just four increadibly powerful mares working for Sombra.

Because now that Twilight knows that "Cadance" was a Changeling all along and that the real one is imprisoned in the Canterlot mines, she'll find her and free her before telling her what happened. Cadance (the real one) becomes shocked and enraged at Twilight's friends, Celestia and Shining Armor for abandoning Twilight like this before storming to them and yelling at them; telling them that they were wrong, the Cadance that Twilight called evil was a Changeling in disguise and that she was trapped in the Canterlot Mines until Twilight freed her.
Plus, for dialogue, have it be in quotation marks ("I can't believe you all! You abandoned Twilight Sparkle, my favorite filly, for an imposter! If you really loved me, Shining, you wouldn't have treated your sister like a piece of dirt!" for example)
And another thing, my avatar is of a drawing I did myself of what Twilight Sparkle would look like if she was possessed by Nightmare when she was still a unicorn. I'd say it would happen during A Canterlot Wedding after she was abandoned in the rehearsal; Nightmare would come and possess Twilight, reveal the imposter and leave. The mane 5, Spike, Shining Armor, and Celestia would try to get her back to normal the same way it was done in the Nightmare Rarity comic: Thinking of what they love about Twilight. I call her Nightmare Nova. What do you think?

Well, the author made it so that it wouldn't go like I wanted it to. It used to be with Nightmare in control of Twilight's body, but they changed it to Twilight in control of her own body. I didn't like that, I expected it to go how I described; and was disappointed.
I would advise against links in a fix. Describe the outfit, and then if you lack confidence in your own description you could include the link in the author's notes at the end of the chapter.
