Actually, Wallflower would not have landed into this situation if she did not open the door to the random stranger standing outside. She would not have been swindled and cheated through this elaborate scheme of her freedom. It was fortunate that there were kind souls out there that saved her freedom before it was taken away.
A decent short story, with some technical flaws. I wished that there would be a more diverse set of descriptions for the perpetrator to constantly remind Wallflower of the time that has elapsed.
