Sunset comes to earth and saves Jesus before they can crucify him. Jesus has to try to explain why he has to give himself up so he can be executed whilst helping sunset work through her complex relationship with her old mentor. Also there are Chaos Demons.

MLP x The Holy Bible x Warhammer 40k

Obviously this is meant to be taken entirely seriously.

Well this is...an interesting premise.

As with some of my other stories I probably put in a lot more effort than the premise actually deserved. :rainbowlaugh:

Me after reading through this craziness:

FOR THE EMPRAH!

Its ok,

But in my opinion religion and politics has no place in MLP. The entire point of MLP is to give people a place to go in order to get away from this shitty world. Its a paradise that makes us forget for a while. Real world Religion really taints it, and in my opinion has no place anywhere near it. Religion for some people is part of the evil of this world after all.

Fair story though.

The Monk
“Because we killed all of the monsters we ever ran into, save for ourselves and Death. What better way to respect death than to give it the form of the only monster we could never kill?" - WhatMustIDo

Worst. Fanfic concept. EVER!!!!!

So Jesus, talking ponies and the Emprah?

My God....

from the shere WTF alone, you get a like

10066667 "no one should write about they have interest in. All must cater to my personal needs please!"

Yeah...no.

...In the sense that you actually wrote it, or in the sense that you think it's okay?

You think it's not okay?

Does Sunset convince the Mexican that his suicide plan is stupid and to not do it?

Wow... I wasn't expecting that:derpyderp1:

I think this is crazy, but in a good way

There's nothing about this fic that was necessary.

Yes I could have played it more straight and focused on making parallels between Jesus and Celestia and exploring Sunset's relationship with her mentor, but to what end? A bible fic was never going to be taken seriously on this site.

While this is clearly some caliber of crack-fic (Which caliber, I have no idea) this was well written. I actually appreciate the way you did everyone's dialogue. It's all clearly a joke but the effort you put into it makes it better.

What a mad lad you are.

SRY

I would ask how high you were exactly when you wrote this..."story"... but I recognize the madness that only true sobriety can craft.
:pinkiecrazy:

This only happened because of that weird-ass roleplay you had in the Discord server.

Sunset's head throbbed as the helmeted man-thing spoke. It was as if she were staring at Discord on Tuesday.

As opposed to staring at Discord on Thursday, which is actually beneficial for your mental health.

In any case... I mean, he is canonically one of the Emperor's preincarnations. I just feel like we're skipping a few steps. Though Sunset had already established time shenanigans were in play.

This is definitely a thing that exists. I feel like we should check the Dead Sea for more scrolls, just in case.

Thought provoking, but how the 40k elements were used jumps the shark. It feels like the idea is discarded for some nonsense action scene. Good, but woukd be better without the 40k part in it, I think. Detracts from the message.

Gotta love the bible crossovers. Just so I’m clear, I say this in jest

I think you already know the universe is a hologram... in any case you got reviewed!

A paradise where non-consensual and underage sexual acts, gore, violence and profanity are all okay, but religion is not?

Seems about right.

One: this clearly isn't meant to be religious in nature. It's a crackfic, if you will.

Two: even if this was a religious story, you're not required to read it. I don't like clop-fics, so I don't read them. And in the rare event that I do read a story that I don't particularly like, I rate it based on how well it's written, and how well it accomplishes it's purpose.

This story set out to be funny, chaotic and illogical. It does that well.
