Marvelous display of competing schemes and wills. I won't lie, I expected someone to backstab someone all throughout the denouement. Wonderful stuff from start to finish. Thank you for it.

Surprised this story took the route it did. Would have liked more of Nightmare Rarity and Midnight Sparkle one-upping each other, but that would have been difficult without getting into comedy territory, I suppose. Given the ending, I would have liked more focus on the bad things that the two did, and what they feel about them, hinting more at the conflicts inside them. Still, it's good.
