Is it me or he just turned wimpy for no reason, with annoys me?
All the times he almost killed, he was defending himself.
He has a reason to feel a little bit sorry but only that , because they got what they deserve.
He shouldn't cry around but do something, and make sure Luna won't remember who she attacked and lost to.

I get that it's Pinkie Pie but that's just absurd and overused in stories when her "powers" can do that.

There really no reason for him to not just say someone attacked him in HIS dreams unprovoked, and lost.

Breaking the Pinkie Promise on the spot? King is definitely the first person (pony or not) brave enough to do it from the get-go. (Even Hermaeus Mora didn't dare to do it)

I think Pinkie Promise counts as her doing something.
Just because it was a Pinkie Promise he felt pain, because a lot of authors use everything that is related to Pinkie as an excuse for something to happen that shouldn't ,the same how they overuse her 4th wall breaking the same way, for similar purpose.

Maybe it wasn't your intention but because you added Pinkie Promise, it looks like a cliche
If Pinkie Promise wasn't used but she would ask him in the normal way, like any other character would,then it would be more meaningful

To be fair as I understand it the scarlet king gains power based on how much pain he is so well anything can cause him pain it just makes him stronger and more powerful
And well I don’t have much knowledge of the king it is said that this pain drove him insane and he just keep getting stronger and more in pain so that he could inevitably end his own existence this is also a good reason for the massive power gap between the king in the scp multiverses and this one as the king exists in multiple places at once in the scp lore some of them outside space and time and in other dimensions
