The fanfics I post here are from now on are going to be sort of my... not really garbage chute, but like... sandbox mode I guess. I'm not going to take fan fiction so seriously any more, but instead treat it as a learning experience, and turn to it only when I'm having trouble in my professional writing.
Which segues into my next point: I'm working on a novel. A real, proper novel. As in the kind you get published and would find in bookstores. And where better to shamelessly self-promote than a FiMFiction profile where I already have 122+ followers? Anyway, yeah so if you see me posting fan fiction, it means I've hit a block with my novel, and if the fanfics stop for a while it means I'm chugging away.

How about it? If my stories were in application format, but contained graphics and music as well as the story. Note that I would also be converting older stories to Visual Novel format as well. Thoughts?

So the first story arc of the Witch is now complete. This makes it the first of my stories ever to pass 11k words. Needless to say, I'll be continuing it. I'm actually starting to really enjoy the story elements I have to work with.
Also, to those of you who were surprised to learn the identity of the protagonist, I advise you to google Kenbroth Gilspotten Heathspike. Don't worry, it's safe for work... maybe a little TOO safe...

They go against the fans' hard work and dedication, and must be made to pay. Everything they touch, they leave only suffering in their wake. They say it is a legal dispute! A legal dispute for what? Profits? Property? Madness! We must resist! We must fight them in any way we can.
The fires of Cease and Desist notices consume the land and thousands of brilliant productions are lost in its defense. This is a tragedy but I say this is an honor, to be shot down in service to the greater good, fighting for what we believe in. There is no greater honor than this.
To the internet come the Hasbro executives and their legal army. They leave horrors in their wake. Lauren Faust rides to meet them, that these barbarous acts might be avenged. Pray that Faust, glorious and exalted as she, find favor with us that she may grant us victory.
Praise ye Lauren Faust. She has found the strength to stand in defense of our vast and unusual fandom. Make no mistake, it is our very existence we are fighting for. The Hasbro executives would see us all wiped form the world. We must resist, we must push back!
I stand before you to deliver a warning. Should Hasbro take EqD, there will be no stopping them. They will march on FiMFiction next. We must end this before it has a chance to begin. This fandom is ours, has always been ours, and it is our duty to defend it unflinchingly. The cease and desists must be overturned.
Be weary friends, their eyes are everywhere. Watching, waiting, they tempt us always. Be strong, strong like Lauren Faust and take up creativity against our enemies in whatever way you can.
