The pegasus mare sitting across from her gryphon crossed her forelegs and glared at her mate as he made marks on the cows hide of where he wanted his cut.
"Its not damn it! You're eating a sapient being! And you, how are you fine with this!"
Pausing in his work, the gryphon looked worriedly at his mare.
"Um... love, sweetie, please don't..."
"Don't you want to live?"
The cow slowly looked up, her smile frozen now in a rictus of madness.
"Live?"
"Oh fuck me..."
"LIVE?!"
Bolting to the mare, the cow grabbed her by the shoulders and began shaking her.
"WHAT IS LIFE! I JUST WANNA DIE! EXISTENCE IS PAIN TO COWS YOU FEATHERED CUNT!"
Taking a shaking step back, the cow fell back on her rump, clutching her head in her forehooves.
"I HAD MY FUCKING CALF DAMN IT! I DID MY PART, I JUST WANT IT ALL TO END!"
As the cow began to rock back and forth, a gryphoness walked up, wielding a blood splattered bat.
"Damn it all... Every time a pony comes around..."

That's a good part of what made "Flash Fog" so good. It was a well-written journey of character development into flutter-competence and bad-assery.
Shame there isn't more Alpha Maaaaaarrrrrr Flutters around that hasn't just been self-parodies coming from FR threads on 4chan.

.......Hentai logic aside, I'm legitimately curious what sort of biological/evolutionary purpose such an organism serves. Like, what does the plant get out of it? Does it mix its own DNA with the male's sperm and force the female to give birth to its baby rapevines? Seems like an overly-complicated and externally-dependent method of reproduction. Sorry rapevines, natural selection probably won't be selecting you.
