Just a guy who found out that a show about talking ponies is a lot better than I expected.

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle have one thing in common: They've both been overwhelmed by Equestrian magic, transformed into demonic forms. That's something that's pretty hard to put behind you.

Princess Luna may have a solution. A spell that will allow them to communicate with their demonic selves inside their heads, through dreams. Both are nervous about the prospect. Who wouldn't be?

As a fan of Midnight Sparkle, I approve.

"Fighting." So that's what they're calling it these days. XD

No, Twilight was referring to Shining Armor.

Interesting concept, and I do love a good jump into a mindscape. But the story just kind of stops rather than coming to a satisfying conclusion. That's sadly true to life when dealing with something as complex and messy as Twilight's relationship with Midnight, but it still left me wanting more, and not in a good way. I'd love to see a sequel with Twilight slowly teaching Midnight the value of other living beings, or at least the importance of proper experimental procedures.

I did kinda have some trouble ending this story. I also spent a lot of time debating about it. Originally, it was going to include Luna in the mind delve, with her confronting Nightmare Moon, but I figured it made more sense to just stick to the other two.
With the ending, I was kinda going for a "One Approach Doesn't Fit All," theme but I can see there might've been better options.
Thanks for reading.
