In the distant future, where Twilight rules Equestria, Chrysalis still remains in her stone prison. Tiger Tornado, a student at the School of Friendship, has heard every bad word about her in the book. Yet there she returns, poems in hoof, for the dream girl she's never met.

Contains angsty pining lesbian stuff with an emotional ending. Non-con tag is only for heavily implied sexual abuse/rape that happened to Tiger Tornado in a future chapter.

Hmmm. Please, continue. I have a sudden need for this

I kind of feel like Chrysalis being a changeling is aware of every agonizing moment unable to transform because of the spell, but still very much alive and aware feeding off the angst of teenage misfits and outcasts who keep coming to her tormenting her with bad poetry. One after another until she either goes stark raving mad or actually decides to give friendship a chance and breaks the spell.

Tiger Tornado is offended, her poetry is at least subpar :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

While I was writing under the idea that Tiger Tornado was the only one willing to see Chrysalis in a romantic light, I do find the idea of her having equally thirsty competition for Chrysalis' heart very entertaining 👍

And who knows? Some of your speculation might be on point!

Fortunately for you, I too have a need for this content :ajsmug:

I was actually mulling over doing a similar story. Kind of on a back burner right now, but I'd thought that perhaps have Cozyglow's mother coming to visit as often as she can or dares to. The way Cozyglow was treated in the show was in a way very cold. After all, she was just a filly who, for whatever reason, simply didn't understand that what she was doing was wrong. Now her only hope lies with Crysalis of all creatures.

hmmmmm, what do you wanna bet shit goes down the drain
edit: first

This story is very interesting to me.

I really am intrigued if all of Chrysalis' perceived reactions to Tiger are indeed real, or simply all in Tiger's head.

There wouldn't be a sad tag without it!

Diamond Sparkle, Tiger Tornado's wingman (or pony) :ajsmug:

Thank you for your reviews! Stay tuned! :raritywink:

my biggest question is when she busts her out, will it let out terek cozy?

After that ending, I feel a strange compulsion to read this like a Spanish Sop Opera.

Overall, this was a nice story.

Ehhh, it was going so well until this final chapter. The disillusioned pegasus in love with a dream rather than the reality of who Chrysalis is and why Twilight imprisoned her was a fascinating tragedy in the making.

But then all of a sudden Twilight is now an abusive heart rending schemer for real? Just to make Chrysalis look better as the noble saviour of the pony who was abused by Twilight? That just... ruins the entire tragedy, and makes me go "who is this pony pretending to be Twilight? Is this all an illusion conjured up by Chrysalis?"

No worries, I was expecting some people to be confused with the final chapter. I wouldn't say it was my intention to make Chrysalis look better at all, rather that Tiger has a lot of trauma to deal with and a lot of growing up to do. Helping someone out of a harmful situation doesn't make them a noble savior, it makes them a decent person, or at least a villain with some standards (even shitty people don't approve of sexual abuse, no?).

Tiger does have an unrealistic perception of what love is, I'd definitely agree with you on that. Although, it has been made clear that she knows exactly what Chrysalis has done, having received the knowledge from books and her teachers. The reality of who Chrysalis is hasn't affected her feelings for the bug queen, but rather gives her a reason to sympathize with Chrysalis.

And as for the tragedy? Tiger has been abused and is on the run from the ruler of Equestria, that's still a really sad situation, even if it's a different kind of tragedy.

It's mostly with how Twilight is turned into a sexual abuser, which is so vastly out of character for her I'm still confused as to where it came from, just to make Chrysalis look better by comparison. I mean, Twilight is apparently so vile that Chrysalis is actually considering going to Thorax for help as a good option by comparison.

There isn't much to say on that one, besides that there is factors contributing to what Twilight did that aren't entirely revealed yet. It wasn't to make Chrysalis look better in comparison, but a factor that was based on personal experience. It made perfect sense for the planned storyline of the series, but not necessarily the character. So I agree with you on that one, and I hope you still enjoyed the story 🙂

I hope the non-con elements weren't too off-putting, as they were personal to me, as well as important to the sequels that will eventually be written.

Wait a moment, hold up. Sequels?! There's gonna be sequels!? ALL MY YES!
