Yeah, the attempt to inject pathos in a comedy of the castle adjusting to its new princess went over kind of flat. Aside from that, darkly amusing tale of centuries of tradition meeting a mare who just wants her freaking Number 4.

I'm like, 90% certain there's a suicide a month in the palace, or at least one assassination every time Her Majesty's takeout goes awry, completely without her knowing. And Celestia forbid they had to dip into the Royal coffer for the cash or some bureaucrat's gonna have a stroke and the Treasury will think there's a coup going on.

Honestly thats where I thought thus story was going when the guards started playing telephone with the "royal decree'. Just everything descending into chaos as, by the time it hits the fifth recipient, "one #4 hayburger with root beer" has become "declare war on the 4th duke of Haybury and root out the beirs of his ancestors".
Come on Twi think. Have one guard or set of guards be the burger guard, less chance of a mess up.
