So that's how our two anti-heros met. And the Wasteland trembled in fear Rita continues to be an amazing and hilarious character, so kudos to both of you for coming up with her (Stonershy mentioned she's based on Sarah Silverman. I heard of her, of course, but she's not very present on european television, so I hardly know anything her and can't really tell how much Rita resembles her). Our favorite griffon only made one grave mistake: With wounds like that, she should have made sure Iron Stag is dead. Now he's doomed to come back as a very angry cyborg...
Great work again, those 17k words flew by in a breeze
gahhhh damn it..some how I didn't discover this until just now. Now I need to read re-read (I fell behind and forgot stuff) Project Horizons, and this. In all seriousness, I've heard very good things about this fic, and it's follow up, I look forward to starting it :)
I can dig it. Did not expect the whole ordeal with the Stag, which made it very awesome. Stupid Stag getting all paranoid and reading too much into things. Now we have a Schrodinger's pony thing going on.
And the story of The Stag ends, revealing that he was just a delusional, paranoid jerk that died the same way those he killed did: with many missing limbs and a lot of pain.
Also, is the recorder actually talking to Rita, or is it just her making a funny voice and talking to herself? The same-color text makes me think the latter.
Hm, Tap gets a slot machine, Rita gets a battery meter. Really adds to the character of the story.
FINALLY!
Special thanks to Seattle, Stonershy, and Ape for helping with the editing. Without them, this would not be and that'd be terrible.
Yay update.
"Rita inhaled sharply, eyes wide, and Tap burst out laughing."
At this point, Tap has not yet introduced himself.

I really hate fucking up like that.
Okay, fixed. Thanks for the help, sorry about that. I'll try to do better next time.

Oh no, you made one small mistake in a 17k+ word chapter. This story is now totally ruined for me.[/sarcasm] :)

You don't want to know how often the "no one could have survived that" trope has come back to bite me in the ass. He'll be back
Cant wait for the next chapter!!!

I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
Even criticism is appreciated!
You know, I've been meaning to read this for a while. I think I will tonight and replace this with a real comment then.
I can dig it. Did not expect the whole ordeal with the Stag, which made it very awesome. Stupid Stag getting all paranoid and reading too much into things. Now we have a Schrodinger's pony thing going on.
And here I thought Stag was gonna turn out to be a pretty cool guy.
Thats it. Im sold. I love evil characters and I love when characters point out a stu`s flaws. Rita is my next character for my fallout games.
