Hey there, hi there, ho there.
Thanks for deciding to give yet another Fallout: Equestria story a chance. With this here story, we're aiming to go a little more episodic, with chapters and groups of chapters making their own stories that you can pick up without much confusion or fuss. It'll go to sometimes weird, sometimes silly territory, but it's not random. It all makes a kind of sense.
First off, I want to say that Odds and Ends will contain NO SPOILERS for Fallout Equestria. So you don't need to worry about that.
Also, while this story is directly a part of Anywhere But Here, you don't need to read both to understand either (or Fallout: Equestria for that matter, I try to introduce all the concepts as though there was no other story set in this world). That said you should totally read both as they do add to each other and because we worked berry hard on them.
Anyway, some fair warning:
This story is going to have both sex and violence in it and it will be explicit. So I dun wanna hear about you being shocked at this.
Secondly the "Chapter Intro's" use coloured text, if you have trouble seeing this due to eye problems (like me!), try switching to dark mode.
Now I just want to think Kkat for making the original Fallout: Equestria (which I swear I'll finish reading soon!) and for the use of the character's Ghoul Derpy, Red Eye, Gawd, and DJ
SpinbitchP0n3. I want to think Stonershy for helping me every step of the way and for putting up with all my bad behavior. And lastly, but not leastly, I'd like to think my pre-readers, without whom this thing would be an unreadable mess.Oh and I guess thank you for reading. I hope you have fun.

Pretty cool. I'm a fallout addict so anything related to is easy to picture in my mine. But damn that stag guy's a bit messed up.
Gawd, I just dig Rita so much. She is hilarious. And that Iron Stag is one scary fellow. But I have to say there wasn't that much to this chapter, mostly gruesome violence and gore. It just feels like the story could go anywhere from here without this chapter having any consequence at all. I'm still looking forward to more, though, because I really love these characters you and Stonershy came up with. Both of you have an engaging style of writing
How much are those two stories connected? Do their plots (and following them) depended on each other, or do they just share characters and setting?

Sorry about the mess, but Stag's a close quarters combat guy, so that means taking his opponents apart.

I love the way Rita and Iron Stag interact. It's so amazing. Especially the end there. He just offs 'Sandy' and goes back to apologizing to Rita. I love it. I can tell that this is going to be awesome.

She's a runt who's as big as the average mare, she's not much of a flyer, she can't hit the broad side of a barn, she tends to freak the hell out under fire, she's scared of just about everything that isn't a pony or a machine, she doesn't know how to throw a punch, she doesn't want to break a talon, and she's no good with explosives
Rita is not your average Fallout hero. For starters; she can't fight, she doesn't care about other's suffering, and she'll never fall in love. Also she isn't a hero.

I did find what I think is an error, though:

If the spikes are swept back, how can they be used for the stabbing in the rest of the chapter?

Rita continues to be an amazing and hilarious character, so kudos to both of you for coming up with her (Stonershy mentioned she's based on Sarah Silverman. I heard of her, of course, but she's not very present on european television, so I hardly know anything her and can't really tell how much Rita resembles her).
Our favorite griffon only made one grave mistake: With wounds like that, she should have made sure Iron Stag is dead. Now he's doomed to come back as a very angry cyborg...
