This was actually rather good. A nice change of perspective from this event. I'd like to see what happens with him later down the road.

This one really had me feeling his pain and desperation. To love someone and be able to know that the love they once had for you isn't there anymore is heartbreaking. I truly felt saddened for his situation.

I do have to wonder if Iron Heart learned the truth about Agent Chitin. Maybe that's were she began to lose her love for him. Maybe she tried to give him openings to come clean about his identity before giving up on him and falling out of love. It would be really neat to see her perspective of the story.

All that aside, thank you for the wonderful read, as somber as it was.
