Equestria is a land of love and friendship, where anypony or anybug can find love. Or at least that's the theory.
With Thorax feeling down, the girls take it upon themselves to get him a date. It quickly becomes obvious why none of the Mane 6 are actually dating anypony themselves. Can Fluttershy heal Thorax's longing heart? Can Rarity finish her embroidery? Will Spike get to do anything important?

I am absolutely adopting the headcanon of ponies wanting to have changelings at their wedding. It's just so damn logical.
I will never not be astounded by both your wit and your ability to execute escalation in a comedic story perfectly. Everything that happened in the bush (and the other bush, and the other bush, and the cloud) was incredible, and the heart-to-heart talk between Fluttershy and Thorax was a really sweet and heartfelt counterpoint to the zanyness.
Headcanon accepted.

Anyway, this was a fun read. I loved the bush shenanigans, albino fog bush included. Great story.
The mane characters in this story have all demonstrated a level of incompetence that borders on mind-numbing and also doesn’t feel at all out of place and is totally believable.
Except for Applejack. Once again, she proves to be the only one with a lick of sense.

Some nice low-key comedy here. Nothing too wacky or outrageous here, just plenty of banter and ponies being silly.
Also: yes, Rainbow Dash, you should check out Rarity's hat collection sometime.

Needs a sequel where they set up Chrysalis and Zephyr Breeze. Not sure about the title, but it should end with "...got her groove back."

Heh, that's a mental thought that both intrigues me and disturbs me.
I'm not sure what was accomplished in the end here, but at least Thorax and Fluttershy seem to have had a good time.
I love the contrast between the lovely heart to heart picnic and the escalating shenanigans in the bushes.

This part actually made me laugh out loud. Zinger after zinger and every character got their moment. Applejack was a GEM in this story, fantastic writing. Also loved the inclusion of Discord.
