Whoa. Great job on the start of this story. I LOVED how the news was so bad that Twilight ONLY refrained from swearing because Pearl and Sweetie were in earshot AND the fact that Rarity is trying not to either abuse her authority or allow her friends to abuse THEIRS. Definitely looking forward to seeing Yves get his (we know it's only a matter of time before karma bites him in the flank HARD).
Anyway, on to the next chapter.
Great job on Celestia's appearance and letting Rarity have the use of her lawyers for this case. And, yeah, the "argument" concerning "royal protocol" was pretty funny.
Definitely looking forward to the final chapter.
Excellent job on the exchanges, characterization and wrap-up in this story. Loved how Lariat's reputation got demolished so thoroughly AND how Rarity got the last laugh even though she TECHNICALLY lost the case.
All in all, a VERY good short story.
