Well, i just recently watched "beep beep, I'm a sheep" by Minus8. So i got an idea on my head all of a sudden, keep in mind I'm more of a mature and teen writer than a everyone tag so this is just a idea
There was a sheep, that you can per se, a symbol of a lost sheep, the shepard(can be any creature you want) searched for the sheep and is going to explore a entirely unexplored Forest filled with wonder and mysterious symbol by the three Pony tribes, the griffon King's first lair, stuff like that.

Thanks! And I don't actually know. Fimfiction itself rather post-dates the era when sheep and cattle talked in the show, which probably has something to do with the lack of relevant groups.

Cows had minor appearances in all the early seasons. Sheep, on the other hand, only had one mysterious line, which the writers had surely forgotten by the time crystal ewes came along. But fans did not forget...
(Speaking of bygone ages of the show, I have discovered Louder Yay and am starting from the back. Nice reviews - a good glimpse of the Season 3 zeitgiest.)

And I'd noticed; thank you! I'm trying to keep up with, and respond to, your comments -- especially as many of those early reviews were written before the blog had much of an audience, or at least one given to commenting. It's interesting to see how my opinions have evolved, too: I'm pretty sure I'll be kinder to "Apple Family Reunion" when I do the series rewatch, for example.
