Simultaneously able to type 94 wpm and still take five years to finish a story. If you're feeling generous, throw a ko-fi at me.

Rainbow Dash wants to create the world’s most awesome album cover, so she joins Sunset Shimmer and Fluttershy at a drop-in art session.

It doesn't go quite as she expected.

Used nudity to distract me from the pun you were building to. Clever. Very clever. That earns a like.

“No, kneaded as in… never mind. Just use one of the white vinyl ones.”

"She's an eraser? Does Octavia know?"

Fun, quick little story with a good amount of actual narrative amid the setup. Another fine entry in the contest.

Gorram feghoots...

Love me some feghoots

All that...just to make an easel pun...

I don’t get it... Great story anyway.

lesser of two evils. Option 1 is slightly better than Option 2

“Oh, yes,” Fluttershy said, pausing her own painting. “Go with the smaller one. I mean, it's not a huge deal; but, generally speaking…

“You should always choose the lesser of two easels.”

BOO!

This is a frightening amount of effort just to build up an easel pun. But I admire your creativity, so upvoted.

Oh! Ohhhhhhhhhh. Nice one.

This made me hit my head against my desk.
I hope you're happy, you punny fool.

I am surprisingly content with the punny fics recently.

“You should always choose the lesser of two easels.”

Somebody will die to atone for the sin that is this pun.

This might be a bad time to mention there's another Feghoot story that puns that phrase you just used.

To her shock, she'd heard her. Tree Hugger opened her eyes and looked over, met Rainbow’s eyes…

And she gave her the tiniest of smiles and winked.

Tree Hugger certainly doesn't beat around THE BUSH, even if Dashie can't BARE to be around her.

This is like when you're innocently watching a tennis match and then suddenly get run over by a truck.

I should have known that it wasn't going to go where I thought it was, but I got distracted by the shiney, and bam.

Well done.

*flips table*

BOO!

*upvote*

“I guess there's a difference between these two, too, huh?”

It might not have been obvious to Dash, but at least Fluttershy could tell them apart easely.

Heart shaped window cleavage, comic book heroine. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I thinking I know the duo you speak of. So I shall merely nod knowingly and act a gentleman.

*nods, wiggles mustouch and takes a sip of tea*

Human sacrifice?

I’m not even mad.
I’m impressed that you essentially JUST wrote this to put that at the bottom.

Bravo.

Please don't include the punchline in the comments.
Many stories like this have been ruined by a comment spoiling the punchline, as they are visible from the stories summary/chapter page.

Sometimes I struggle to choose a pencil when I start drawing. It's like, 2B or not 2B? That is the question.

May I suggest you don't read the comments of a story. Before reading the story. As not discussing the story in the comments of the story. Defeats the purpose of comments. But I will keep this in mind and mark stuff like that as a spoiler.

When you open the chapter/summary page, if the summary is short, you can see the comments (the most recent few).
You don't need to specifically look for the comments, they are right there in clear view.

Bwahaha. This was a fun setup, entertaining Rainbowness both in her cluelessness about the art world and in the cover image she's imagining, and a fine pun at the end. Good one!

The dialogue in the first scene was so good that I could have been happy just reading a thousand words of Waiting for Rainbow Dash.

“Not really,” Rainbow admitted, “but I've got a couple concepts. I'm front and center on it, of course; but I'm also thinking rainbows, guitars, thunderbolts, lightning-”

“Sounds very, very frightening,” Fluttershy murmured.

Honestly, this got more of a laugh from me than the end pun.

This is a very cool story, and I liked it. I love topics related to art. I recently read papers at artscolumbia.org/free-essays/art/ and I got an idea. I read this story and thought I could write an essay about fanfiction and storytelling as forms of contemporary art. Thank you for the inspiration.

Didn’t anticipate the feghoot. Well done.
