Rainbow Dash's took me a day and a half to write, and I wasn't expecting to make hers as long as 15,000 words, haha... But my opinion on her backstory has always been that either she had loving and caring parents that made her feel awesome about herself and always complimented her skills... or this. And I thought to myself, well, which one would be more fun to write?
I'm thinking I'll either do Rarity or Twilight's next, depending on which I can get fleshed out more in my head first.
Also, I personally grew to really love Cloud Spice during the course of this story, so I made his character using the pony-maker and a bit of photoshop:

Wow......This is, like. painful. In the emotional way, I mean. I mean....gods, what a pair of bucking retards! What kind of parents just ignore their kid?! how in the world did Dash live long enough to even get her Cutie Mark with such neglectful pricks? I really feel for poor Dash here. Still, it's really cute when Dash is happy. Plus, it fits with headcanon regardless of how old anyone personally feels the mane cast are, so that's great.
