You want my honest thoughts?

I got no idea what the heck is going on with that flash back.
It feels like you dislike Luna, making her out to be spoiled brat, or seem to dislike Celestia making her sound selfish or so.

[quote" Night and Day are both equal, I was just saying the day is a bit more important. But I can't just say that it'll make her madder. That bit confuses me? Who thinking that Celestia or Luna? Why she think such a horrible thing and Celestia the element of honestly sounds like she lying to herself more then anything.

Last Luna banning Nightmare Night yeah that going to make Ponies love her. She going to be even more hated then ever by all the foals.
Sure even Pip not going to like her anymore.

Yeah. This failed miserably in every catagory. It might have worked better to have it as an alternate Luna Eclipsed where Luna still ends up a foal.

But the episode doesn't change all that much because of it.

i would have to disagree with you, this was pretty good

if your talking about it not lining up with the tags then keep in mind that this is just the first chapter

I haven't read the story yet, but "Banning Nightmare Night" should have been done a looooong time ago. Luna being pissed about it makes perfect sense. Think about it. You go to prison for 50 years and when you get out, you find out that your name has been removed from history along with everything you've done. Not only that, but you have been turned into a boogie man and a cannibal to scare children.

I bet you would be kind off pissed off too. Luna not wanting to ban the holiday would make absolutely zero sense to me.

Her hands were still bound with rope, she debated an escape before all the stupidity gave her an aneurysm. -Scarheart

OK, I just finished listening to this chapter and I like it. There are a few spots where its not clear who is talking, but otherwise i think its a promising start. It is a reasonable depiction of someone chronically under appreciated, especially a younger introverted one. It also fits into my view of who Celestia actually is as a person. (A sociopath with an obsessive compulsion with ponies as a race.) Also, I was able to follow what was going on fairly well. Your no Ernest Hemingway but its a fair start.

Lets see now........Whats night good for?

How about.......Circadian rhythms as well as most hormone control, Ship navigation, Tidal flow, Female reproductive cycle timing, Etc, etc, etc.

Yep, not important at all.

As for the Author, Great start and I would like to see more. Also pay no attention to the "peanut gallery" write what you want and to hell with cannon. If authors stuck only to cannon, we wouldn't have some of the greatest stories on this site. The truly great stories here are from Authors who thought "Outside of the Box".
