I'm glad you didn't turn Applejack into a transphobe here. Even though they do exist, I sometimes feel like a good portion of people just don't have the frame of reference and can't process it. That was how I was for a while. After I was exposed to it more and more through stories and other media, I kind of ended up like Applejack, I still really don't understand it, but if that's what makes the person happy, then it isn't my place to say. Nice job.

I really like Applejack's realism in this. As a Christian, I often struggle with accepting LGBT people for who they are without supporting the concept itself, so Applejack's initial reaction to Rainbow "coming out" was actually very relatable, and I hope I can use this to help me if I get into a situation like this myself in the future. Thank you.

I tend to find that's the most common reaction when I tell people I'm trans, is that they just don't understand it. I can totally believe AJ's reaction.
