I like it when legendaries don’t talk. It makes them seem more mysterious, yet intelligent.
Also, I know the Great Seedling is Xerneas, but that name makes me think of Ever Oasis.

When I saw that episode, Xerneas immediately came to mind, and I just had to do this flash fic.

You welcome, in fact. There’s a couple of idea I’ve had from this fic that I was hoping you’d consider. The first is. What if during a sequel to this. An injured Xerneas met Flutters within Sweet Feather Sanctuary and she being the element of kindness did all she could to heal the Fairy pokemon and with her having a way to understand various creatures had a talk with Xerneas while it healed. Personally I feel like those two would hit it off. Don’t you?
As for the second fic idea, what if one night in the Crystal empire Cadence finds Flurry Heart playing with a Mega Diancie. Who through telepathy tells the tale about how it was who helped to forge the Crystal heart.
Like I said these are just some story ideas that this fic inspired that I was hoping you’d consider. So, what do yah think?

The first idea sounds like a great beginning to a bigger story if you’re ambitious enough. Otherwise, it’s a wholesome slice of life!
The second idea sounds like it’s got the right themes in place, but maybe try telling it through Flurry’s eyes? Diancie is telepathically talking to her after all. Although, I wouldn’t have it go Mega right away. Maybe after a big event that happens?

Like when the Crystal heart go off from all the happiness of the Crystal ponies cause they quickly recognized Diancie and were over joyed to see the best friend of previous ruler after so many years. Cause in that version I see the Crystal heart being Diancie’s mega stone. Which would help tie in to the story of how Diance helped to create it alongside the previous ruler of the empire.
