I write Generation 3.5 fanfics set in the Generation 4 world... its better explained in "Generation Shift"

E

A literal telling of the shift between the Generation 3.5 ponies and their version of Ponyville, to Generation 4's ponies and their Ponyville.
Where do the old ponies go?

I don't know if I hate you for writing this yet. Let's find out.

WAIT quick question are they replacing the old ponies for new ones?

because thats what happened in real life, FiM (gen 4) replaced gen 3.5
its a real telling of that, kind of an odd concept I admit

I wanted to write a story that had the newer ponies coming and the old ones leaving. People so easily forget the ponies of the past, some I swear don't even know there were any.

This is interesting! Good job, I'll definitely watch this.
The only thing that's bugging me:
The mayor sold the city and Celestia bought it?
Where in the world can a mayor sell city grounds to another state?
That's like ... the mayor of New York selling Manhatten to the ... Chinese. That simply does not happen.:twilightoops:

well see back then there was no defined kingdom, the mayor was the only government ever seen in gen 3.5
all the places were city-states, they didn't belong to a larger kingdom, Ponyville was run by the mayor, gen 3 had a bit more to it, but gen 3.5 didn't
So I treat Ponyville as a city state and the mayor as the "owner"

Not sure what to think of ti right now, not much to go on as of yet. Flowed nicely though.

Moar. now. I've been waiting a few months or so, and I think it's about time for moar.

seriously though, this is good.
