It was quite the usual day for the bustling street of Manehattan, ponies went on their day and minding on their business. Rarity, the rest of the Mane Six and Spike is preparing to depart from Manehattan after their stay here accompanying Rarity participating on 'Fashion Week', but something unexpected happened. There was a lot of shouting, mixed with a terrified scream of ponies. Many fled, but also many approached just to see what is happening. That includes the Mane Six aswell.
And there, just a few miles away from the shores of Manehattan with all of its Pride and Glory, those who stared are all in awe of its Might.
The proclaimed King of the Sea: Bismarck.

I say Yamato has that title of Bismark.
But the single chapter makes me not read this.
Lots of grammer errors. But a good story. The errors are more flow related and a couple missing things like "the" taxi or "a" taxi. Now the sequel should be twilight and friends get gifted the ship.

Bismark and Yamato were great and powerful ships, but imo the title King/Queen of the sea is reserved for the "Grand Old Lady" HMS Warspite. She served in 2 world wars and has the most battle honours of any ship in the Royal Navy.
Alright what happens next? This isn't a one shot story is it?

Personally, i would think that it would it fits better if the ship came from a fog bank rather than dropping from the sky! (it is more Twilight Zone-ish!
But is the fic really complete as tagged? Because Twilight's final question is a good one.
Even if we dismiss how studying the Bismarck would advance Equestrian technology, military *and* otherwise, a lot... the simple fact that Equestria now have such a battleship would be a major status quo breaking event - how would possible allies and enemies react to such event (which will be dependent of when in the timeline the arrival of the Bismarck happen... post-Tirek? post-Storm King invasion? post-Changeling reformation?).

Bismarck and Yamato, aah how lovely ship they are. After their destruction, it was a sign for the end of the Battleship era and now enters the Aircraft Carrier to rule the Sea. Bismarck on my opinion, WAS the King of the Sea before the Aircraft Carrier takes his stead, due to the fact that DURING that time, Bismarck was the greatest ship ever made and the most advanced one. Sure, Bismarck's position as the greatest Battleship ever built was taken by the later Battleship Iowa and Yamato. I'll say Bismarck still held the position in my heart, despite him ruling for a short time.
Oh and the fact that I'd say Bismarck was a 'He' than a 'She', I was referring to the statement made by the Captain of the Bismarck. He insisted on everyone calling the ship 'He' because he claimed the ship was unsinkable and how baddass the ship is.
Alas, he didn't factor in the new superior power of the Skies.

Well Captain Lindemann sadly had to learn that no ship is unsinkable. (the Kriegsmarine had no luck with most of the capitalships - Graf Spee, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Tirpitz, Bismark, Prinz Eugen, Armiral Hipper)
Btw how will the ponies operate a ship that is build by humans. You know we have hands, so the Bismark would need some serious retrofit. Not to forget the industry that is needed to do so, a drydock big enough, factories for the ammunition (5 different calibers) and the fuel. And they have to learn a new language, because everything on the ship is in german (controls, manuals ect.). So this will be a heck of a job for Equestria.
You have some problems with run on sentences, and with switching tenses (past-present) randomly.
Still I like it. (definitely better than the last WW2-related fic I read.)
