Scootaloo is driving me nuts in this story. She's so rude and arrogant even after how nice he's being to her. She breaks into his house, steals from him, guilt trips him and then blackmails him. I've got no sympathy for her at this point and something better change soon with her, unless you're planning on adding non-con to the tags :P
I love what's happening with James, Sweetie and Rarity at this point. Both James and Rarity want one on one relationships, yet he loves sweetie, rarity loves him and sweetie loves both of them, and what Sweetie wants, James gets! Wonder what he'll do should she want Scootaloo and the Pegasus filly doesn't want any part of it? Brain is still stearing towards Non-con, dammit! XD
Can't wait to see more of this and who knows how it's going to go? Either way, it's going to be a fun read.

Surprized that he doesn't do better incentivisation then he does; just off of the top of my head he could just not give her things until she had agreed to avoid making a mess with it, and then not get her anything else until she followed though with her last agreement; if he didn't want to leave her mess around then he could probably get her to do equivalent jobs; got to make sure that people grok a connection between doing work for others and others doing work for them, otherwise they just develope a hatred of work in general since they hate everyone that it seems to be benifitting.

Honesty the only way that punishment could actually work to get people to do as you wish is if it lowered peoples expectations of the world from believing that nothing to their benifit will happen without their effort to the world actively being harmful to them if they don't remove its ability to do so first, and then if they didn't view yourself as the part of the worlds ability to harm them.

...You know, i think that this is one of the first examples of justified physical agression toward children that i have ever seen; he can't just stop, supporting since she had blackmail, but this isn't a thing that she's not repaying him for, like cleaning up her dishes in return for his giving her food, but instead a active disalowment of default living (that meaning that she didn't let Sweetie Bell live with unbrused eyes).
I guess that taking something from him without repaying him, like taking food without cleaning up after herself (or a equivalent task if he cleaned up before she could), would also count, but not if he put her serving on the dishes since that would make it his decision and thus his responsibility; she could very well just not serve herself if she didn't feel like the food was worth the trouble of cleaning (or, alternatively, she could do the clingwrap-on-plates trick to make it easier) or not use her room if she didn't feel like bothering to clean it, but the second that someone else uses it to house her, rather then simply alowing her to house herself, or used it to serve her, rather then alowing her to serve herself, then it would be their responsibility, assuming that she didn't request that they did it (even then i would think that they should get her to agree that them doing it for her would be in return for her cleaning it after she's used it).

Well that was a clusterfuck. Should never have let Sweetie direct the lewds without his input and/or sanity checking. Should probably also have called off the lewds until Scootaloo could be properly informed about what she was getting herself into. The pole-dance, and the dedication of learning how to pole-dance, was lovely though.
