Dark rituals deep in the cover of night, and hidden in the untamed wilds, offer no protection to the performers of the act, nor the innocents around.

When a grotesque monster from another world is summoned and accidentally let loose, even the wilds can’t contain its voracity. What hope does a meek little canary yellow pegasus have against such an unholy threat?

Glad you enjoyed it, dude. I wrote this when I tried to do that contest in the group, but since it fell through, it kinda just sat until now.

Nah man it's okay I love reading stories of idiots Cultus or occult dudes try to summon a demon they're just lucky that all they got was a small grunt instead of like the queen or King Cerberus or Goliath or Artemis or any one of the bigger high-level demons they just got a small low level one either way great job now I'm even more excited for more of your stories

Wonder if we will see more DMC/mlp crossover stuff?

9874122
Actually, I’ve got another crossover made that is DMC/MLP, though it has other games mixed in as well. It’s called “Elements Change the Dark Hearts”. It’s a completed work, so no need to wait for updates on that one.

I’m also working on a bunch of side stories, and soon a sequel story. Next week, I’ll be releasing a story about Berial called “Elements: Sworn Through Swords”. Only have the first chapter done, but I’m planning another 8 chapters afterword.

Also, I’d recommend you check out “Pony May Cry”. A story from another writer about the Sparda Twins winding up in Equestria after the events of DMC3 and MVC3. It’s actually pretty good.

I see, I will check them out soon.

Been wishing/wondering if there are DMC stories out there where Spike got to fight demons and such.
And Princess Luna getting to too. In fact I keep imagining her using Nightmare Moon as like a DT form pretty much.
Along with using Yamato somehow. That keeps popping up in my head.

Why not write a story about it?

9874443
Eh... I am more of a story reader/idea-giver than story writer though.
Especially due to laziness/procrastination stuff and recently my grandpa being so interruptive lately its throwing my focus/motivation off on things. Heck, the problem from my grandpa is doing that with me playing my games, just messing up my focus/motivation.

9874453
Yeah, I can relate. I’m a MASSIVE procrastinator. Elements Change the Dark Hearts started as a nine chapter story about Bael from DMC4 showing up in the Crystal Empire, and had a wildly different title name and different idea for an ending. However, due to procrastination, my own focuses shifting back and forth, and strokes of inspiration upon just looking at random things or playing random games, it all ended up altering ideas, slowed down production of just about every chapter, but pretty much birthed my personal favorite, 56 chapter story that I’ve decided to expand upon.

Procrastination and shifting focuses can delay works, but it can also help shape them to be better in the long run. It just depends on what you do and how committed you are to seeing it through, no matter how long it takes.

I highly suggest you try giving it a shot one day. You might even have fun doing so.

Ok
Though still I think I am most likely just going to give ideas to others or discussing stuff rather than actually writing stories.
I might have story ideas and bits of stuff in my head but I just don't end up typing them pretty much.

Hahaha, I was expecting quite the interesting horror story at first, but I like how this turned out. Shows that really all animals are loved by Fluttershy. The ending's what got me. :rainbowlaugh:

Glad you enjoyed it. I was intending on making sure I’d play up the horror enough to make sure the creature was nice and threatening, while throwing a nice counterbalance levity (trying to take some Ps and Qs from the Evil Dead series). Was kinda worried it wouldn’t pay off, but considering the reception, I’m pleased that it seemed to.

Thank you for checking this story out.

9885622
Been gettin’ in on the horror action myself lately, so I look forward to more! Especially with a splash of comedy like this. :raritywink:

9886506
Unfortunately, this was a one-shot story. I do have other stories that you can check out. Maybe you’d find something you like among them?

I’m also going to be working on a horror story for halloween, I’ve been trying to do that (almost) every year, with varying results of praise. Maybe you could check one of those out?

9886574
Haha, sweet. and haha, yeah, I try to release a Halloween one every year too, though this would only be the third one. I guess I'll wait to see them!

9887322
I’ve released 5 so far, going on to my sixth. All titled under a certain moniker, treating them as a series like “Tales from the Crypt” or “Goosebumps”.

9887587
Haha, very nice, like the old classics. I’ll have to check them out. Mine’s sorta modeled after Are You Afraid of the Dark, ha.

9888555
So, you got intros and outtros where a bunch of ponies tell campfire horror stories?

9888688
Yeah something like that, haha, though it's in the EQG side.

9889115
Nice. That makes sense, actually.
