It's my favorite Halo game. You should definitely give it another go in the near future!
A lot of people for some reason didn't like 'ODST' very much. I on the other hand loved it. Becase it brought the player down to average soldier level insted of the Spartan super soldier. Showing the players a new prescription of the Halo world.
I find it hard to believe Rookie walked to the town hall without spotting or being spotted by one of the inhabitants. Decent chapter otherwise. I'll be keeping up with this one.

You have a bit of a conflict with the mongoose. Electric motors do not roar to life like their internal combustion counterparts. One runs on electromagnets the other runs on explosions. Magnets are significantly quieter, if you want to hear a powerful electric motor find a clip of a Tesla vehicle.

My problem is not with ODST but with the rest of The Halo franchise, they do not do justice to the ridiculousness of spartan capabilities.

The fuck's a high distance? There's no 'distance' when talking about height. If you were trying to talk about the vertical plane of travel, that's height and/or altitude. If you were talking about the horizontal planes of travel, that's length and/or distance.
Were you trying to say that it couldn't fly very high or that it couldn't go very far?

Uhh both the warthog and mongoose are hydrogen powered. They take water as fuel.

Actually dug around for a bit. We're both wrong. I mistook the hydrogen based vehicle for one that ran on hydrogen fuel cells, which power electric motors. Mongoose and Warthogs apparently use HICEs.
HICEs (Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines) run off of liquid hydrogen as a fuel source. Using the hydrogen evaporate as its combustible catalyst which fuses with oxygen to form water and nitrogen oxide as exhaust.
