Yep, this was excellent. Blithely-dense Chrysalis is Best Chrysalis, and her attempts at suitably holiday-ish shenanigans (as well as Thorax and Pharynx's plotting in the background) made this a joy. Bonny stuff, Meridian.

This was one of the first lines I wrote that had me cackling a little - I think my mum thought I'd gone a bit mad, haha. And, to continue into 9375754 : blithely-dense Chrysalis ranks right up there as one of my two favourite Chrysalises, right along side Fae Queen Chrysalis. And Pharynx might low-key be my favourite part of the whole story. To quote some things I said to a friend (coughcarapacecough) about the idea before I wrote it:

I think it's a problem with fimfic's formatting - I know the footnotes are a new feature, they probably need some troubleshooting. So for now I think you just have to find footnotes the old fashioned way and scroll down (or control-F).
