Princess Luna has finally found love. The pony who would keep her in the light, bring joy to her life, and happiness for years to come. All of this suddenly came to an end. Tirek, still imprison left behind a little bit of magic inside of the mare who defeated him, Twilight Sparkle. An evil curse to end the princess of friendship for good and shattering Luna’s hope for the future.
Tirek cursed Twilight in the cruellest way. This dark curse will attack Twilight’s heart and kill her if Luna gets too close. Twilight is forced to push Luna away in hopes she will find a cure. But will Luna be able to overcome this new darkness in her heart? What will happen to this heartbroken mare, who can’t be with her true love at the risk of killing her?

The nobles have YET to realize that the princesses are immortal beings with powers that of the gods. They can wipe the nobles off the face of Equestria with a single spell, yet the nobles still try to challenge them. I love this story, I really do, but I am getting kinda tired of the princesses being pushed around really easily, I get that it's for the sake of the plot but it gets repetitive after awhile.
But that's just my opinion. I love this story a lot and I want to see Luna and Twilight finally be together after they find a cure for the curse on Twilight's heart. After all, I'm a sucker for Twiluna.
Final note: Don't take what I said above as hate, it's just, I have read a lot of stories with the nobles pushing the princesses around easily and I'm getting a little tired of seeing it. If you take this as hate then I am sorry, I never intended for it to be.

I think, the law to make hate acts against same sex marriage illegal is just as short sighted as one that bans it. You have to pass law against acts of hate and discrimination based on <gender, species, beliefs, past history>, and what defined as such acts, period. I believe that some kind if that law is already in place, provided that there are three tribes living together. If anything, that original phrasing implies that same sex marriage is something special.

It's your story and you can do what you want with it. But, killing Twilight would be the worst idea because it would undoubtedly turn people away from the sequel. People really love Twilight, (myself included) so having her killed off (If that's what's going to happen) will make people turn away from this.
I love your story, I really do. It was beautifully written from start to finish and the whole cursed heart deal was genius. But if what I said above is true, your sequel might not do as well as you think it will.
(Then again, I could be completely wrong about everything I just said, and I hope I'm wrong cause like I said, I really like this and I would hate for it to crash and burn like some stories did when they killed a beloved character. That's why you see so many stories bring back the character(s) they killed because that was the only way they could save their story from crashing and burning from so much hate.)
