I have to say, this short story WAS quite appropriate for Halloween time. And I appreciate you sharing the link to the song too.
I will admit that, on one hand, Cinch got punished WAY worse than she deserved (yes, blackmail is a felony definitely deserving of several years in prison, but getting trapped forever in a twisted cartoon world is excessive). On the OTHER hand, I DID really like the flash toward Cinch's Start of Darkness and I CAN appreciate the coincidental irony that her old cartoon characters had THE EXACT SAME NAMES as the seven students that would play the biggest roles in bringing about her downfall.
The song was great as well.
Anyway, all in all, very good one shot.
Pinkie: Relax, Cinchy. We aren't going to actually KILL you. (gives a "scary smile" that would make the Joker proud) Just torture you until the end of time.
Twilight: After all, why would we go to the trouble of turning you into a cartoon character (which includes a considerable amplification of your physical durability and longevity ideal for enduring EXTREMELY prolonged torture) if we actually wanted you dead?
Rainbow: What the egghead is trying to say is if we were planning to kill you, you would be dead already.
Rarity: No. We have FAR too many issues to vent to be satisfied with killing you.
Sunset: And we wouldn't want to lose our "straight mare", now, would we?
Sorry. About that. Got off on a bit too much of a tangent. But the point remains that I DID find this story quite enjoyable.

I read all the comments and even though my mlp impressions aren't as good as some fan voice actors or even the real ones (especially when it comes to Rainbow Dash), I wouldn't mind actually giving this a try. I just gotta get a few more lines memorized but otherwise I got the whole song down. My only question now is that is Cinch the human and the Mane 7 all ponies or are they all humans or...?
I also noticed you were missing a few words and unnecessarily changed some lyrics from the song, throwing it off a bit. Otherwise, this is pretty good!
