This story is a sequel to Forming a Winter Storm

Life in Ponyville has gone on as normal, and the summer blizzard incident has faded from everypony's memory already. Winter Whisper and her now-coltfriend Midnight Storm have been getting along famously, finding their way through their first and odd relationship. But no relationship is without its bumps, and a few days ago the pair hit a rather rocky one. They have been fighting for days, and as their friend Crystal Lattice struggles to find a way to calm them down, everypony remains unaware that a far greater danger than a lover's quarrel looming literally on the horizon. Three mysterious shadows make their way towards Canterlot...
