Winter Whisper has long known there was something different about her. Her warm nature was long at odds with her cold touch and icy white coat. For a time, she was happy to let the mystery stand, content with the life she's chosen to live away from the suffocating grip of Canterlot and her parents' desires. But when Winter's past refuses to leave her alone, she'll be forced to contend with the changes, or lose everything that she's come to know and love.

As her life threatens to grind to a halt by an untimely visit from her parents, Winter's unusual ice powers grow out of control. Seeking to contain herself, Winter must journey far from what she knows, and hopefully find the source of what makes her such a different pony. The journey for the source of her magic may grow perilous, but will the love and support from her closest friends help Winter overcome the risk and find her place in the world?

Probably a very shy author who's quiet about sharing his work. But your comments are very welcome, thank you so much for the positivity ^^

If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?

That's a solid question...sadly I'm not the best at describing voices. Been trying to find famous character voices to kind of describe them better but it's hard to really nail down.

Midnight is my own voice since he's basically my ponysona. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it since I kind of despise my voice. My friend says I talk like Donatello from the 2012 TMNT series but not the pitch, I don't really know how to describe it better right now.
Winter I can't really get narrowed down at all. She's maybe midranged in her voice with a Canterlot/British accent just strong enough to notice, but not enough to make somepony wonder why she's living outside Canterlot. She talks calmly and cheerfully, except when she gets flustered and her words speed up, or when she falls into despair and panic (like most of this story) where she speaks heavily and weary.
Crystal is kind of like Jenny/XJ9 from the cartoon "My Life as a Teenage Robot", though pitched down just a bit, and her speech pattern is more like Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Vlyka has the pitch of Audrey from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, but the accent and speech of Astrid from the How to Train Your Dragon series. And yes, I am a massive cartoon lover, why do you ask? :P She's also just a little bit raspy, especially when irritated since she growls like an irate dog.

I hope that was helpful for you, and thank you so much for your continued interest!

I say that was a great story, will there be a sequel?

There will indeed! I have a long history with my characters I'm aching to tell. I hope you're patient enough to stay along for the ride, I'm glad to have you!

Why don't you like your voice?

Just a bad mixture of self-destructive tenancies and insecurity really. Nothing to get into on a forum like this.

Any other questions about my characters I'm happy to answer, thanks for being interested!

Wow, the name Winter is used a lot. I myself have used it. Good story so far!

Goodly written.
