Commander Joe

Hiya, I've made it my goal to make a story worthy of the site that inspired me so much.

T

Sometimes life just sucks, doesn't matter if you live with a bunch of callous humans or friendly little ponies.

What really matters is how you cope when things get hard, when your lost and can't find you're way, when you're alone and have no one to rely on.

Because in the end I am who I choose to be, and NO ONE will take that away from me.

Have you read the lore of the Displaced?

Seems alright, but you have a typo in your summary which is always a bad thing. Your should be you're and vice versa for the you're in the same sentence.

I swear I've gone over the summary like 22 times, I dont know how I missed that. Thank you :)

Uh...I thought it was a genre...thats slightly embarrassing

It kind of is. The theme of the Displaced involves being sent into another world but often changed into another person/creature/etc in the progress.

9239093 Honestly I wouldn't take the lore too seriously. It pretty much is a genre, just like HiE stories are just isekai fiction. People just get too full of themselves over such a silly thing as horse words.

The lore is just there incase people wanted to cross-over and meet other Displaced. The void and everything else is not required to be mentioned in a story to make it a Displaced.

9239224
I can see it, though I think that the crossovers are the worst part of Displaced stories, completely destroying any momentum the story had by cutting off for an unrelated story.

9239259
That's because alot of people don't know how to make a good story involving said cross-overs, thus they will either do too many cross-overs or worse the cross-overs have nothing to do with the main story.

The cross-overs need to be kept to a minimum and only be done if it helps with the three main elements: World building, advancing the story plot, or helping character growth. Main character also needs to be relaxing with no major events going on. Also if author chooses for the main character to gain new powers, they should be chosen and approached with caution as it can make or break a character.

Overall, cross-overs are a fragile subject to approach and it can ruin a story if not done correctly.

However, the best option would be to keep the cross-overs as non-canon and kept in a seperate story and not be part of the main story.

I can definitely agree with that.

I can safely say that is not going to happen here. Only changes to the MC will be through character growth and experience. Sorry about that.
