I love this idea.
I've always wanted to read a story that involved a human child and a foal, and to finally see one come up is a serious treat for me. As much as I adore the concept though, there are some problems in your prose.
I would highly encourage you to find an editor that help you clean this chapter up a bit and slow down the pacing. Seriously, this idea is just too good, and there's so many possibilities that you can reach with this. Good luck!
