Finally! You have no idea how long I've been waiting for constructive criticism like this. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts because I don't think I understand what you mean. If you're worried about this story getting dropped then rest assured that isn't happening. I have the plot for over 30 chapters planned for this story.

Yeah, the protagonist vault gets ripped with lead in the very first chapter of the story, oh my. I expected that cliche, but I didn't think it would be that soon.

Kinda wanted the Reader to know right off the bat just the sort of tone I was setting up for this. Don't worry, reasons will be provided in later chapters. Besides, when your protagonist starts their journey at rock bottom it gives readers hope that things can only go uphill from there.
