The Mane Six and Starlight had chalked up the events of their hike to each of their flaws simply getting on everypony else's nerves. However, upon their arrival at the Tree of Harmony, they will soon discover the truth of their tumultuous hike. Although, there is a chance they won't be able to survive learning the truth.

I would love to see the Tree of Harmony be destroyed spontaneously. Plunge Equestria into chaos. 😄

Actually, a unicorn can be more powerful than an Alicorn. The show confirms this. Twilight wasn't holding back.

Ah, gee. Someone can't handle the fact that it was stated IN THE SHOW that Starswirl is more powerful than Twilight thereby making it canon that Alicorns are not necessarily more powerful . :pinkiecrazy: So there is no reason Starlight can't be a match for her.

"nervousness and reference" should be "nervousness and reverence"
“What should I do! Twilight!” should be "What should I do?! Twilight!" (change to interrobang at least, if not just a question mark)
“I’m and Alicorn" should be "I'm an alicorn" (or Alicorn... I'm not sure if it's supposed to be capitalized. It's not really a proper noun, you know?)

Hmm. That's a mildly morbid campfire...

A fake can never topped an original.

Meanwhile, Applejack was left wishing she had a lasso on her.

"No rope! And only last night you said to yourself: 'Sam, what about a bit of rope? You'll want it, if you haven't got it.' Well, I'll want it. I can't get it now."

Like the idea but I think the magic should slowly die because of the imbalance of good and evil. There is too much good in Equestria. Let evil win for once, they did it to Avatar, The Last Airbender.

Not bad. Kind of basic, but certainly enjoyable.

Some people are going on about how unicorns can be stronger than alicorns - but still, I like the idea that an evil Twilight without any desire to hold back would be so much more powerful. It's kind of like the nightmare of Daybreaker from A Royal Problem... implying that the princess' apparent weakness compared to Starlight or Starswirl is just because they don't really have that fighter's instinct.

In my MLP story, there's an OC of mine that can manipulate any type of magic, and be protected from it with the help of a special helmet.

At some point, he goes to the Tree of Harmony, waves his hoof at it, and it slowly crumbles before him. The magic disappears, shards of the tree break into tiny pieces, and the Mane Six groan in pain as they feel the tree being destroyed from miles away.

This character also uses a chunk of the Element of Magic to construct a new helmet after his old one was destroyed. So yeah, somepony overpowered enough should destroy the Tree, and in my story, this character did just that. XD

And evil won in Avengers Infinty War as well.

What if the original is the asshole though?

Burning corpses is way too gruesome.

She was holding back, actually. I call it the "Thou Shall Not Kill Effect." All morally good heroes, when fighting another living being like them, will subconciously hold back ever so slightly due to their nearly instinctive aversion to killing. They don't have to think about it, killing just isn't in their nature. Twilight might say that she didn't hold back against Starlight, but she actually did to a tiny fear of killing Starlight by accident in the back of her head.
False-Twiliight is morally bankrupt, and wholeheartedly wanted to kill Starlight, so False-Twilight was able to truly not hole back and thus make the most of her Alicorn magic.

EXACTLY! YOU GET IT! THANK YOU!

Ignoring all the people talking about who's more powerful or holding back and all that, this was a pretty great story. I can totally see this happening right after the ending, in fact I would've loved to see this being made.

Great Job!

Thank you, glad to see someone else agrees that Twilight was holding back, though personally for me she was holding back because she didn't want to hurt Spike, Rainbow Dash, or Fluttershy, who were present during the fight. Anyone who argues, go look at the fight. The scene where the "Starlight clapping" meme came from was the very same scene where Twilight accidentally hit Rainbow Dash.

Wow! Good epilogue. If it wasn't so violent, it could totally fit in the show's canon.

Either that, or there is an obvious difference in power between Alicorns like Celestia and Luna compared to the likes of Twilight, Cadence, and Flurry that nopony even knows about. Mostly on-account of how very little there is actually known about Alicorns. Chances are that Twilight Sparkles' peak is the bottom most rung on how powerful an alicorn she is, especially since there hasn't once been a scene where either Celestia or Luna are teaching her the fundamentals of being an Alicorn, only on how to be a Princess which is completely different along with the brief scene where Rainbow Dash is simply teaching her how to fly has nothing at all to do with Alicorns.

Ok wow that was pretty Epic and a very interesting way to the episodes of have a epilogue and I seen so many stories of Clone or mean Twilight who survived but somehow got away with some things she's are planning on attacking Twilight or Chrysalis again this was a pretty good one Starlight handled herself pretty well even though she was kind of out powered because you know the amount of magic and yeah Twilight did hold back because she doesn't want to hurt anybody but this one she just wants to destroy good thing the tree of Harmony helped out and got rid of it so now they know Chrysalis is out there

As False-Twilight’s body began to shrivel and melt, she cried out in rage, “YOU’LL NEVER DEFEAT CHRYSALIS!!!!!!!!!”

That quote actually works well with the show's established events.

She then frowned again and said gravely, “So . . . Chrysalis. . .”
Starlight nodded back and said, “Yeah. . . she’s still out there, and she’s still pretty dangerous.”

Oh, believe me, you'll find out just how dangerous she can really be.

Don't think clone Twilight would immedietly just fight the mane6, with how numeral disadvantage she was.

She would lay low and wait for her chance, tricked them to think she is their allies with common enemy.
