Ponyville is no stranger to people dropping in unannounced, but even the Elements of Harmony probably weren't ready for a four fingered yellow biped to literally fall out of the sky. His name is Homer J Simpson, and his chance arrival will forever alter the course of Equestrian History in ways beyond their imagination...or maybe not.
It's also just as likely he's going to drive somebody (er, somepony) up the wall as he struggles to adapt to a society where clothing is optional, television is nonexistent, and the closest thing to alcohol is apple cider. All the while trying to find a way home. Will he succeed? Will he get back in touch with the man he used to be before twenty nine seasons worth of content turned him into a hollow shell of his former self?
Hell if I know. Should be fun to watch though.

Well I looked at the usual excuse-er, reasons for displaced characters when I realized there was a perfectly good one built right into the end of that episode! Of course in exchange for magical adventures with adorable ponies he may never discover the wonder of erotic cakes.
It's likely a toss up whether that's a bad thing or not.

I'm really loving this story, and the ending of this chapter was hilarious.

I debated having Equestria Girls be canon in this but honestly it felt like doing so would deny me a great deal of potential story ideas. That said I loved Rainbow Rocks so don't think I'm snubbing what's been an interesting spinoff.

*Takes the time to put on rubber boots to better insulate myself against lightning strikes* Sorry friend, while Homer and Pinkie Pie do come to love one another, it's the kind of platonic love you'd see in movies like 'Bolt'. After all a major drive in this story is Homer trying to get back home to his family. That said I'm tickled pink I had such an impact
