Apple Bloom just wanted to go to Zecora's so she could try to earn her cutie mark in potion making. She never imagined that she and Applejack would end up dragging an unconscious changeling to their farm.
The plan was to secure it and report it to Twilight, so that it could be turned over to the Royal Sisters. But with the return of the Crystal Empire, the Apples are now stuck with this changeling until Applejack gets back.
Can these farm ponies keep it contained until then? And why is this changeling white?

I've always assumed stolen love and affection is less nourishing to changelings than the same feelings directed toward them. That's why Thorax stopped being hungry when he lived in the Crystal Empire, he had friendship(a kind of love) and couldn't actually consume it all. Same for reformed changelings, there is more love energy than they can use up available.
That ending, all the dawwwwws.. all of it.
I got to say, good chapter, we are learning more about 4-8-2( or what I like to call him- Dash Seis. (Try to figure out way)). About his past and seeing Seis 'walls' break down. Who knows, maybe next next chapter we will see how AJ reacts to what the CMC doing with Seis.

He would sound like the changeling that replaced Twilight in To Where and Back Again part one. In fact, all of the changeling drones sound like that in this story. No buzzing in their voices like Queen Chrysalis, it being a female thing.
